Our Vision
The Peace Company dreams of a world where peace is the underlying value around which our society organizes itself. In this world, realizing we are interconnected and interdependent, we solve our conflicts nonviolently, approach our differences with respect and appreciation, and work in partnership for the well-being of all life on the planet. To this end, we are dedicated to transforming the current culture of violence in our society to a true culture of peace.
Our Mission
The Peace Company fosters a culture of peace by making peace practical, popular, and profitable.
Practical: because the ideal needs to be translated into concrete actions that people can do in their everyday lives
Popular: because the more people who take responsibility for making a peaceful world, the better our collective chances of making the culture shift we envision
Profitable: because peace must become the basis for our national and global economies in order for the world to survive and thrive
Our Values
The Peace Company operates on the following core principles.
Reciprocity: We give back to our community, through our yearly Peace Dividend and by making our goods and services available to many who may not be able to afford them
Empowerment: All our activities are aimed at inspiring and encouraging people to believe that peace is possible, and that they, as individuals, CAN make a difference
Sustainability: We make every effort to live lightly on this one planet we all call home, through using environmentally-friendly materials, recyling our waste, and being mindful of our resource consumption
